Decatur Cooperative Ministry
2,100 school-age children and their families are homeless in the City of Decatur and DeKalb County this year.
"We believe there is a light at the beginning, middle, and end of the tunnel through homelessness, and we want to help shine that light. By offering comprehensive services and partnering with other mission-minded people and organizations, DCM helps families prevent, endure, and overcome homelessness. DCM brings people together to serve the community. Founded in 1969, DCM is a faith-based nonprofit organization supported by over 35 congregations from 14 denominations. People and congregations of all faiths are welcomed as partners. DCM works in conjunction with schools and educational institutions, government agencies, businesses, civic organizations, and community groups. Services, employment opportunities, and volunteer opportunities are open to all qualified applicants. Contact us.  DCM does not practice or tolerate any form of discrimination based on religion, race, national origin, physical ability, gender, sexual orientation, or age.
